The company’s purpose is through environmentally friendly technology to operate a circular, financially profitable, sustainable activities in material recycling processes of plastic and other organic materials.
The company produces and sells end products from the chemical processes that convert plastic and organic material into liquid carbon compounds, together with industrial partners.
With BASF as the future offtake partner, Circular Tires Holding AS will feed the oil into BASF’s production at the beginning of the value chain, thereby saving fossil resources, the share of recycled material is allocated to certain products manufactured in BASF product line.
BASF is a perfect match as a strategic Offtake partner for Pyrum Innovation AG and Circular Tires Holding AS. Innovation is the bedrock of BASF as an innovation leader in the chemical industry, with around 10,000 employees in research and development and R&D spending of around €2.1 billion.
BASF are building on these strength`s by bringing research and development closer together and making customers demands a greater part of the innovation process. Involving customers, expanding, partnerships with customers and external partners, BASF are working with partners to further develop the market and the pyrolysis technology which waste tires into a secondary raw material called pyrolysis oil.

BASF have secured a strategic ownership position in Pyrum Innovations AG, as they have invested 16 MIO Euro the company, now becomming and important and strategic supplier of high quality RCF ( recycled Carbon Fuel) for BASF.
