Concept

The Polyfuels concept is based on the collection of plastic raw materials from the industry. We take care of the plastic that is currently incinerated because it cannot be mechanically recycled into pellets. In cooperation with the company’s distributor of pyrolysis technology and industrial chemical partner Watec Solutions AS – we will contribute to a circular solution for the plastic.

The plastic will be washed, crushed, and go through a thermochemically closed and clean process in reactors that create pyrolysis oil. The pyrolysis oil will then be processed further in a – cracking process – into new plastic – this contributes to a sustainable green circular economy.

In recent years, we have tested waste plastics from several potential raw material suppliers, to learn about the content and set new standards for a spoil, and thus a new sustainable industry.

The company is currently establishing industrial-scale demonstration plants at Billingsfors in Sweden and Viken in Norway. These 2 businesses will lead to full-scale plants processing up to 24 tons per day by mid-2025.
